Service Introduction

Amazing Start Project, initiated by the Boys' & Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong (BGCA) in 2021, is committed to providing high-quality and professional early childhood intervention services. In 2022, the project established "FocalPoint@AmazingStart" in Kwun Tong, serving families with children aged 0-3 in Tuen Mun, Yuen Long, Tin Shui Wai, and Kwun Tong districts.

With the generous sponsorship from the Chow Tai Fook Charity Foundation and Lee Hysan Foundation, beginning in April 2023, the project will be jointly implemented by BGCA and Yang Memorial Methodist Social Service (YMMSS) and extended the service to Yau Tsim Mong district. Meanwhile, two brand new "FocalPoint@AmazingStart" are set up in Tuen Mun and Yau Ma Tei.

The Amazing Start Project adopts a child-centered play-based intervention with the concept of "Love@1000 Days" in delivering parent-child services for children aged 0-3. It aims at facilitating age-appropriate quality stimulations of children, enhancing parent-child attachment, and improving home environment.
